I got the albums back up. I upgraded to a new version of ZenPhoto, but I don’t have time to retheme it to look like the rest of the site. That will come later. At least the pics are up.

Btw, links to all the old albums from my past posts will not work properly. I’ve recategorized my pics into subalbums since ZenPhoto supports it. I have to change the links in the past posts. For now, you can access them by directly going to the gallery and browsing for them.

I’m making a few modifications to the Album pages so it will be down for a bit.

Also, pictures in past posts referenced these images so they will be down as well.

My hosting provider (HostPC) had a special offer to get more space for my site for pretty much the same amount of money. I had to move my site over to a new server in order to take advantage of the offer. Everything should be okay, but please let me know if there are any issues. Thanks.

I’m experimenting with putting videos into my albums as well.  I’ve been trying to convert the videos people took with their cameras into flash video files so that it can be streamed online.  I’ve placed a few in some of the albums, but it’s not ready for prime time.  still a little buggy.  hopefully I’ll be able to hack ZenPhoto so that it can be used without all the bugs.

The albums should all be back up. I couldn’t get it to work properly on my new server and I still can’t figure out why. For some reason spaces seem to cause problems so I’ve replaces all spaces with an underscore. Anyhow, if you see any problems, please let me know. Thanks.

I finally got my photo albums to appear again, well at least partially. Before, none of my pictures were coming through, but I finally got it so the thumbnails get shown. For some strange reason, I can’t get the actual images to show up. I’m sure it has to do with the redirect rules, but I can’t figure out what it is. It’s almost 1AM so I’m going to just take a break and hope that I’ll see something that I missed today after a good night of sleep.

I’m signed up for a new hosting service with HostPC and moved my site over from DreamHost.  I was pretty unhappy with my old hosting provider because the site was way to slow, and from what I read, they oversold quite a bit.  I’ve read that the my new hosting provider is better so I’ll try them out and see how they are.

I’m sitll in the process of moving so not everythign might work as perfectly as I would like.  The site may be a bit buggy so please bear with me.  Thanks.

It’s been a long while since Ive updated my blog. Been busy and well, I guess I didnt have time to really spend 2 minutes writing something. I have to think of something so I dont do that.

I still have yet to implement the new photo album that I want to use.  I didn’t have much time to test it out, but I’m hoping that I’ll have a little more time this week.

This is another boring post by me. The only reason I’m posting this is for me to keep track of what I do on this site. If you’re interested, read on. Otherwise, read something else.

I’ve been using ZenPhoto for my photo album, but it isn’t as integrated with Wordpress as I would like it to be. So I started looking into real Wordpress plugins, but most of them seem to suck. I did find one called ANIga gallery that seems to be good. It already has support for sub categories and a slideshow. Yet its very simple, which is what I am looking for. I’m testing it out and I like it, I’ll have to move everything over to the new plugin.
